St. Patrick's NS: Glanworth 🌞We were very proud of the boys in 4th, 5th and 6th class who played in the Sciath na Scol hurling final on the 22nd of May in Mallow. John, Ciaran, Danny, Conan, Charlie, Jack, Seán, Kyle, Finbarr, Rory, Tommy, Tristan, Eoghan, Elijah, Joey and Rhys (injured) played very well. We were extremely impressed with the resilience the team showed after half time to come back fighting to score three goals. They played as a team with determination right to the end and although St Patrick’s did not win on the day, we felt that the achievement of reaching the final and their, “Never Give Up” attitude should be rewarded, in the form of pizza, which the team enjoyed on Friday. Well done boys!
